Tartu [eel]arvamusfestivalil korraldas Estonian Fashion Festival arutelu teemal "Täna seljas, homme prügikastis?".

Tarbijakeskne vaade tekstiilijäätmetele ja inimeste vaimsele poolele – miks me suhtume tekstiili kui jäätmesse ja loobume sellest nii kergekäeliselt, samas tunneme pidevalt vajadust uusi riideid tarbida.

Kust need mõjud tulevad, kas selle taga on kaval turundus ja mõjuisikud või on see paratamatu taak, mis nõukogude ajal puuduses elamisest on kaasa tulnud ja peagi möödub?

Vestlust juhtis festivali juht Key Külaots, kes on muuhulgas ka taaskasutusbrändi REDIS Disain asutaja ja disainer. Arutelus osalesid Liina Pulges (Unistuste Agentuur), Cärol Ott (moelooja), Kai Realo (Ragn-Sells tegevjuht) ja Aljona Eesmaa (Portail looja ja peatoimetaja).
